ACO Learning Network Member
Lancaster General Health is proud to be a member of the Brookings-Dartmouth ACO Learning Network, a group of more than 125 organizations nationwide dedicated to improving the quality and value of our nation’s healthcare. The Engelberg Center for Health Care Reform at the Brookings Institution and The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice began working together in 2007 to foster the early and successful adoption of Accountable Care Organizations, or ACOs, groups of doctors, hospitals, and other providers who come together to give coordinated care to patients they serve.
ACOs are seen as a promising model that would realign how providers are rewarded for improvements in the efficiency and quality of care they deliver. To learn more about ACOs and the Brookings-Dartmouth ACO Learning Network, visit www.ACOLearningNetwork.org.
