Increasing access to immunizations for school-aged children
New for the 2017-2018 school year, the Pennsylvania Department of Health shortened the grace period that allowed children to attend school without all required immunizations from eight months to five days. Students not exempt due to medical, religious reasons or on the basis of a strong moral or ethical conviction similar are unable to attend classes. Read more…

Let's Talk, Lancaster to offer Mental Health Co-pay Assistance Program
In September, Let’s Talk, Lancaster, in partnership with Lancaster General Health, launched co-pay assistance and mental health services for low-income individuals and families in Lancaster County. Partners from Project Access Lancaster County (PALCO), Lancaster Osteopathic Foundation (LOHF), the Let’s Talk, Lancaster Coalition and the United Way work to increase access to mental health services, reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness, and improve communication among between physical and mental health providers.
