Find A Doctor - About the Press Ganey Survey

We want our patients to have the best possible experience when they turn to us for care. Our Press Ganey patient satisfaction surveys help us learn how we can improve that experience.

LG Health/Penn Medicine measures all aspects of patient satisfaction, including your satisfaction with our doctors. To do this, we partner with an independent company, Press Ganey, the recognized industry leader in healthcare patient satisfaction.

After an appointment, a survey is sent to patients asking for feedback on their care provider. We post both positive and negative feedback, but do exclude comments that are libelous, slanderous, profane, or risk patient privacy.

Here are the questions we ask:

  1. Likelihood to recommend care provider (Press Ganey 5-point question)
  2. Provider knows important information about your medical history (CG-CAHPS 3-point question)
  3. Provider explains things in a way you understand (CG-CAHPS 3-point question)
  4. Provider listens carefully to you (CG-CAHPS 3-point question)
  5. Provider shows respect for what you have to say (CG-CAHPS 3-point question)
  6. Provider rating 0-10 (CG-CAHPS 11-point question)
