Conference Objectives:

  1. Discuss the differences between His bundle and traditional pacing, including  the issues addressed by more physiologic pacing.

  2. Discuss utilization and cost of health care in the future.

  3. Discuss the key principles of population health and strategies for transformation of care for cardiovascular patients.

  4. Describe the burden and clinical features of heart failure in congenital heart disease.

  5. Discuss perioperative cardiovascular risk assessment and its use at LG Health.

  6. Review the evolution of endovascular therapies for aortic disease.

  7. Review the Lancaster General Hospital MRI Registry for patients with non-MRI conditional pacemakers and defibrillators, including methods and outcomes.

  8. Review new cardiovascular drugs, including indications, dosing and pertinent research.
