Advanced Practice Clerkship at LG Health

What are advanced practice providers?

Advanced practice providers (APPs) are licensed to practice in collaboration with physicians in those same specialties to meet the extensive needs of their specified population. APP's are fully qualified health care providers.

Patients who are seen by APP's report an extremely high level of satisfaction with the care they receive. APP's are involved in direct patient care, research, education and legislative activities to promote quality health care for all citizens.
