Benefits and Stipends
Interns receive a stipend of $24,960 for the training year. Trainee benefits include: in a 192 hour paid time bank for sick leave, vacation, dissertation release time and holidays; Employee Assistance Program; Wellness Programs including free access to the Employee Fitness Center; Employee Cafeteria Discounts; O-T-C Pharmacy Discounts; Flu vaccination; Employee Service Center Amenities.
Hospital policy dictates when and how these benefits can be utilized within the training year. Medical insurance is offered. Disability insurance is provided under the umbrella policy of the hospital.
