Meet the Team


Christine Stabler, MD

Vice President for Academic Affairs

Christine Stabler, M.D. is a native Philadelphian who “never saw a tree until she went to college” according to her husband. She received her BS and MD degrees through the Penn State- Jefferson Medical College 5 year Pre-Med/Med program. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Lancaster General, a Fellowship in Academic Medicine at Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine, and joined the Lancaster General Family Medicine Residency faculty following clinical practice in suburban Lancaster and Philadelphia.

Dr. Stabler is the Vice President for Academic Affairs for Lancaster General Health. She is a member of the Mission and Community Benefit, Business Intelligence, Academic Affairs, Education and Graduate Medical Education Committees. She is a Past-President of the PA Academy of Family Physicians, Past-Chair of the AAFP Commission on Membership and Member Services and past member of the AAFP Commission on Education.

Dr. Stabler holds academic appointments at Drexel University College of Medicine, Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine, The University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and The Pennsylvania State University School of Medicine at Hershey. Her clinical practice includes inpatient medicine, full-spectrum non-surgical Obstetrics and ambulatory procedures.

   

Terri Ridley, MBA, BS, RN

Regional Director Operations

 

Terri earned her nursing degree from the Lancaster General Nursing Program, a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Lebanon Valley College, and a Master of Business Administration from Penn State University.

In addition to Director of Operations for the Office of Academic Affairs, Terri is the Regional Director for the seven practice locations under the Lancaster General Family Medicine Residency Program, and the operational Director for the Dental Residency Program.  Terri also has operational responsibility for the new Franklin and Marshall Student Wellness Center.  Terri has been in medical office operations for over 25 years, and has been instrumental in the start-up ventures of many new practice sites.

Terri has over 34 years of health care experience, in both nursing and administration, and shares her knowledge and expertise in the health care arena by also serving as adjunct faculty for the Healthcare Administration Department at the Pennsylvania College of Health Services.

Under Dr. Stabler’s leadership, medical students from Drexel University, Penn State University, Temple University, and the University of Pennsylvania, as well as physician assistant students and advanced practice nursing students from various institutions, complete clerkships, or rotations, at Lancaster General Hospital.
 

Dr. Stabler, formerly Deputy Director of Family and Community Medicine, oversees students in their Family Medicine rotations. Other clerkship directors supervise students in the following rotations:
