New requirements for Child-Abuse Mandated Reporting Law include expanded training

When changes to the Child Protective Services Law (CPSL) take effect on Dec. 31, 2014, physicians (and a host of other providers such as physician assistants and nurse practitioners covered by the law) will notice expanded requirements for reporting child abuse, tighter licensure requirements related to child-abuse education, and increased penalties for those who do not report child abuse as required by the law.
