5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, ABBCIPalliative Oncology Principles: Evidence for your practice and timing of specialty referrals is the title of a CME event led by Kristina Newport, M.D., FAAHPM, Palliative Medicine Consultants’ director of Outpatient Palliative Care; Anjana Ranganathan, M.D., Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine, Hospital of University of Pennsylvania; and Shanthi Sivendran, M.D., MSCR, LG Health Physicians Hematology & Medical Oncology. Dinner, 5:30 to 6 p.m.; program, 6 to 7:30 p.m.

  • Noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, Stager Conference Center:  Save the date for Department of Medicine Grand Rounds featuring Dr. Jason Comeau speaking on PVD and Coronary Artery Disease.    

  • 7 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday March 8, Stager Conference Center:  Medical & Dental Staff meeting’s CME is the Heroin Crisis in Lancaster County: What does it mean for providers? Speakers are Cheryl Steberger, Warden, Lancaster County Prison; and John Burkhart, Detective, Lancaster County Drug Task Force. Dinner, 6 p.m.; business meeting, 6:30 to 7 p.m., CME following immediately after at 7 p.m.

  • 7 to 8 a.m. Thursday, March 16, Stager Conference Center: Save the date for Dr. Christopher Wenger, of The Heart Group of LG Health speaking on Pediatric Dyslipidemia for Pediatric Grand Rounds.

  • 7 to 8 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, Stager Conference Center: Save the date for Family Medicine Grand Rounds.
