working on 3 West got a tasty surprise on March 30 when staff on that unit crafted a spread of homemade goodies in honor of
National Doctors’ Day. “Unit clerk Jenna Saldana had the idea of honoring our doctors and the rest of the staff just ran with it and contributed,” said Kim Callahan, RN, BSN with 3 West’s Med Surg unit.
The treats were set up at 3 am on March 30 and by 7 am about 20 physicians had already come by to sample. “We are very focused on Relationship Based Care and I think this is just one way to show our team’s support of our physicians,” Callahan noted.
