Quick hits: Dr. Jeff R. Martin wins national award for medical-legal partnership

Jeffrey R. Martin, M.D., recently received the 2017 Distinguished Medical-Legal Partnership Advocate Award.

Frederick B. Rogers, M.D., (right), received a state award for his commitment to excellence in trauma care April 11, in Hershey. Dr. Rogers is shown with Michael J. Reihart, D.O., LG Health Associate Medical Director, Emergency Medical Services.

Jeffrey R. Martin, M.D., has won the 2017 Distinguished Medical-Legal Partnership Advocate Award from the National Center for Medical-Legal Partnership.

The award recognizes a practitioner who has made a significant contribution to support the national growth of the MLP movement through research, policy, scaling or education activities.

Dr. Martin was honored for seeking legal partners to address the complex needs of his patients at LG Health Physicians Care Connections, where he is Managing Physician. He received his award April 7, as part of the MLP Summit in National Harbor, Maryland.

 


 


Dr. Rogers receives award for excellence in trauma care
 
Frederick B. Rogers, M.D., LG Health Division Chief, Trauma, has won a state award for his commitment to excellence in trauma care.
 
Dr. Rogers received the Dr. John M. Templeton Jr. Physician Award April 11, at the American Trauma Society, Pennsylvania Division’s conference in Hershey.
 
The award is given to a physician who has shown commitment to excellence in trauma care through clinical expertise, philanthropy, leadership, trauma-related research, and trauma prevention and education.
