Your Room

We make every effort to provide you with the type of room you request. However, your preference may not always be available due to emergency admissions, a high volume of patients, or your specific medical needs.

Call signal

A special handset is available for you to call a nurse. Press the button on the handset to speak with someone in the unit. Patient bathrooms are equipped with signal cords in case of emergency.

Your bed

Patient beds are designed to offer comfort, safety, and prevent the development of skin problems. If you need to adjust your bed, or need help getting in or out bed, a staff member will be happy to help.

Meals

Each day you will receive a menu containing the next day’s meal offerings that allows you to select food items you like. Circle your choices and keep the menu until it is picked up. Sometimes, we may change your menu if your choices conflict with your doctor's diet order. If you need help choosing your meals, someone can assist you. If you would like information about your diet, your nurse or doctor can request a visit by the dietitian.
