Using the latest techniques in sports medicine, the doctors and staff at Sports Medicine help athletes of all ages and abilities address a wide range of injuries caused by acute trauma or overuse of muscles and joints.
Care for common sports injuries and conditions like bruises, broken bones, and foot, knee, hip, elbow and shoulder pain
Pre-participation sports physicals
Sports concussion assessment and management, including ImPACT (Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing) to determine whether injured athletes are ready to return to play.
ImPACT is a scientifically validated computerized testing tool that provides objective information for assessing recovery following concussion, managing post-concussion symptoms, and determining readiness to return to sports participation, school and work. The ImPACT test measures symptoms, memory, processing speed, reaction time and other factors. We can use pre-play ImPACT testing to establish a baseline for athletes involved in high-risk, high-impact sports.
