Conditions we treat
Your pelvic floor is actually the floor of your torso, and is located at the base of your pelvis. We treat a wide range of pelvic floor disorders.
Pelvic organ prolapse
Pelvic organ prolapse creates the feeling of a bulge from the vagina when a pelvic organ (uterus, bladder, rectum) drops from its normal position. This condition is often caused by giving birth or the normal aging process.
Urinary incontinence, or the leakage of urine, often occurs when you cough, sneeze, or exercise. Pregnancy, childbirth, aging, and hysterectomy are some of the common reasons you may leak urine, often at undesirable times.
Other conditions we treat include:
Overactive bladder (urinary frequency and urgency)
Difficulty emptying the bladder
Vaginal mesh complications
Recurrent urinary tract infections
Hematuria (blood in the urine)
Interstitial cystitis (also known as Painful Bladder Syndrome)
Fecal incontinence (leakage of stool)
