Downtown Family Medicine offers its patients a wide range of services. The  National Committee for Quality Assurance has recognized our practice as a Level III Patient-Centered Medical Home. This means that we offer our patients a comprehensive approach to their wellness needs and the high quality of care you have come to expect from Lancaster General Health.
Comprehensive healthcare services
From wellness exams and preventive care, to prenatal and newborn care, to nursing home visits, we provide a wide array of services to meet your healthcare needs. In addition to the services traditionally associated with a family medicine practice, we offer behavioral health services, and our social worker helps connect patients to various resources if needed. Translation services are also available for our Spanish-speaking patients.
Centering program for expectant mothers
Our family physicians provide personalized services for pregnancy, delivery and post-partum care along with an attending staff physician at LG Health Women & Babies Hospital. Through our new centering program, groups of mothers who are due during the same month meet regularly with a physician to discuss topics such as what to expect during pregnancy and how to care for a newborn.
A convenient location
Our offices in the Downtown Outpatient Pavilion give patients easy access to laboratory testing, X-rays and other diagnostic services, if necessary.
Our provider team
Downtown Family Medicine is staffed by faculty and resident physicians from the Lancaster General Family Medicine Residency Program. All of our physicians have full staff privileges at LG Health facilities and also refer patients to most area hospitals. They will make house calls when necessary.
