Hematology/Oncology Medical Specialists provides compassionate, high-quality care for patients diagnosed with blood disorders and cancer. For more than 40 years, our patients and their families have trusted the knowledge, concern and dedication of our physicians. As part of the Lancaster General Health Physicians network, our doctors and staff are committed to working closely with you to make the best decisions about the treatment you need in an environment that is comfortable and close to home.
Comprehensive management of blood disorders
We provide care for both non-cancerous blood disorders and blood cancers. The benign blood-related problems we treat include anemia or disorders of the red or white blood cells, and blood clotting disorders, including hemophilia. We have extensive experience treated malignant blood disorders, including leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and others. You can count on us to coordinate all your care, including other specialists and services from other facilities.
Collaborative cancer care
Our practice is part of a team that provides comprehensive care for patients with many types of cancer. Our physician team offers all forms of systemic cancer therapy, including chemotherapy and other drug options. We collaborate with surgeons and radiation oncologists to develop an individualized plan of care for each patient. You will have access to nurse navigators, social workers, nutritionists and chaplain services to support you throughout your journey. Our partnership with the Penn Cancer Network also gives you access to the most recent clinical trials and genetic testing programs close to home.
About our practice
Our practice includes physicians who are board-certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and medical hematology. Our location in the Suburban Outpatient Pavilion offers easy access to laboratory and other diagnostic testing, if required.
