Help Knock Out Breast Cancer
Early detection and diagnosis play a key role in the fight against breast cancer. That's why we offer quality breast health screenings at five Centers for Breast Health at Lancaster General Health.
Schedule your mammogram
You can schedule a screening mammogram here, or call (717) 544-5941.
You should schedule an annual screening mammogram if you:
- Are age 40 or older
- Have no personal history of breast cancer
- Have no signs of breast cancer, such as a lump or thickening, nipple discharge or dimpling of the skin
- Are not pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have not had a mammogram in the last year
If you have risk factors for breast cancer, your doctor may recommend screening mammograms before you reach age 40. If you are age 75 or older, ask your doctor whether you need a breast cancer screening.
