The Healthy Weight Management Center At Lancaster General Health
Lancaster General Health’s Healthy Weight Management Center is a beautifully appointed modern facility designed specifically to make people of all sizes feel welcome and comfortable. In addition to housing Bariatric Physician Specialists, LG Health’s bariatric surgery team and host of other wellness programs for weight management, the facility includes a fully equipped demonstration kitchen where patients can learn healthy meal preparation. The kitchen has full audio and video capabilities, making it the perfect venue for guest speakers and classes.
Another unique feature of our Healthy Weight Management Center is the state-of-the-art fitness center. Becoming more active increases the chance of long-term successful weight loss, we know the sometimes a gym can be intimidating. Our specially designed facility makes exercise a little easier for our patients. Staff by two, full-time exercise physiologists, the facility is available for patients before and after weight loss surgery to help them ease into exercise and eventually transition to a community-based program.
