Driving a vehicle is important to any person’s independence. Lancaster General Health’s Driving Safety Program helps determine if an individual with a disability, age-related illness or impairment that may jeopardize their driving ability can safely operate a vehicle with or without special driving aids. Our services are appropriate for individuals with conditions such as stroke, head injury, multiple sclerosis, amputation, bone or joint disease, cerebral palsy, dementia or spina bifida.
