Routine Conditions Treated
While we treat children in our inpatient Children's Health Unit with a multitude of illnesses and diseases, some of the more common conditions include:

Respiratory conditions such as bronchitis, asthma, & pneumonia

Gastrointestinal and metabolic disorders

Neurologic disorders, including seizures

Serious or invasive infections of infants, children, and adolescents

Serious orthopedic injuries and related bone and joint conditions

Surgical emergencies, including appendicitis

Emergency stabilization of critically ill or injured children prior to transfer to tertiary care centers
