Sarah’s Story

As I type, both of my precious sons are safely tucked away in bed and I have some time to reflect on the past year. Our family lives in Texas, but in August 2014 we were in Lancaster attending a missions conference. I was 24-weeks pregnant with our second child, a son. The pregnancy was progressing normally and we, along with our healthcare providers, had no reservations about traveling. About six days into our trip, my water broke. Read more…

Sheri's Story

Aidan, my fourth child, is five years old. He was born 10 weeks early and spent a little over a month in the NICU at Women & Babies.  I knew there could be issues because of my history of early deliveries and my age. Aidan was actually born the day before my 38th birthday.  Read more...

Eric's Story

When my wife Lisa was pregnant with our son Brody, I would read to him every night. Still, she was the one who was feeling him move, feeling him kick and I felt a bit disconnected. But there in the room after he was born, when I got to hold him for the first time, was when I really felt like a dad, a father.  Read more...

Kathy's Story

For me, menopause caused a major change in my life, including some unacceptable symptoms. I just didn’t feel like my 'old self.'  Based on my medical condition, my gynecologist, Dr. Bryan Yingling, and I decided that it was time for a long-term solution and that a hysterectomy was the best option.  Read more...
