Our Legacy of Philanthropy Includes:

The United Auxiliaries sponsors a variety of events throughout the year.

Event Descriptions

Jay R. Bucher Memorial United Fore Golf Tournament: This premier event for the United Auxiliaries is held annually at the Lancaster Country Club and features a Celebrity Pro.    

United Fore Golf: Become a part of the planning committee or provide support on the day of the event.

Membership: Our members are our foundation! Help us to recruit and retain members while raising awareness for the UA to strengthen our future growth. 

Membership Committee: This group collaborates and plans member social events throughout the year.

Marketing & Communications: Strategy is key to our success! This group works to raise awareness, build support, and promote the good work we do through our website, social media, and quarterly newsletters.

Committee: Meet with VP Marketing & Communications on a quarterly basis.

Vendor Sales: Various vendors are brought in throughout the year to sell handbags, uniforms, books, jewelry, etc. These sales are held at the Downtown Hospital, Suburban Outpatient Pavilion and Burle.

Volunteers: Volunteers are needed to help with Vendor Sales at various times throughout the year for a few hours during the day.

Special Events: Our deep history of philanthropic support is often showcased through special events. Become part of the planning committee or provide support on the day of the event.

Special Events Committee(s): Become a committee member that meets once a month or volunteer the day of the event.

Luminaries for Life Planning Committee: This emotional event is celebrated by a bridge lighting on First Friday in December that honors those battling or have survived cancer and memorializes those who are no longer with us.

Luminaries for Life: The Luminaries for Life Committee meets in the fall. Volunteers are also needed for a few hours on the day of the event to sell luminaries and set-up and break-down the event.

Leadership Positions: Our leadership executes the mission, vision, goals, and strategic growth of our organization in order to stay vibrant and current. If you are a natural leader with a strong voice and passion for philanthropy and helping others, we’d love to have you join our Executive Board.

Executive Board, Committees and Staff 

Melissa Conklin, President 2017-2019, Chair United Fore Golf 2018
Melissa is currently a senior administrative assistant in the legal department with Armstrong Flooring, Inc. She is a passionate supporter of pediatric care in our community.

Linda Roush, VP of Fundraising 2015-2019
Linda is the senior development officer and coordinator of campaign programs at Elizabethtown College. Previously, she served in advancement and fundraising roles with Millersville University and Schreiber Pediatrics. Linda has a strong background in fundraising, including work on several capital campaigns, and is an active community volunteer.

Pam Denlinger, VP of Marketing 2015-2019
Pam is currently the retail manager at Penn Stone. A West Chester University graduate, she has previously worked as marketing manager for the Lancaster Barnstormers. Pam previously served on the 2nd Annual Match Point Tennis committee.

Kathy Boley, VP of Membership 2015-2019
Kathy has been a United Auxiliaries volunteer for the last two years, serving as volunteer coordinator for the Holiday Showcase on Penn Square and United Fore Golf.

Kristy Muenz, Secretary 2015-2019
Kristy is the print publications writer/editor at UGI Utilities, Inc. In her role as secretary, Kristy will help build an awareness of how the UA makes a difference in the community.

Lydia Yeager, Nominating Chair 2017-2019
Lydia is ticket sales manager for student services at Millersville University. She was previously president of the United Auxiliaries.

Meridee Duplissey, United Auxiliaries Specialist
Meridee manages the United Auxiliaries’ daily operations, drawing on her past experience in special events at Millersville University and retail management.
