The Zika virus continues to spread, making headlines along the way.
Earlier this month, federal officials urged pregnant women to avoid a Miami neighborhood where 15 cases of Zika have been discovered. This is apparently the first time the CDC has advised people not to travel to a place within the continental United States.
Here in Pennsylvania, there are 61 confirmed Zika cases, with the results of another 250 tests pending. All Pennsylvania patients to date are believed to have become infected while traveling to Zika-affected areas outside the United States.
