An upcoming CME event on a common gynecological cancer will feature oncology and fertility experts from LG Health and Penn Medicine.
“Endometrial Cancer: What Every Practitioner Should Know about the Most Common Gynecological Cancer, Focusing on Younger Patients and Fertility,” will be held Wednesday evening, Sept. 21, at the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute.
Special guest speaker Dr. Clarisa Gracia, Associate Professor of OB/GYN, Director of Fertility Preservation, Division of REI, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, will speak on oncofertility. Other speakers include Dr. George Olt, LG Health OB-GYN Department Chair and LGHP Gynecologic Oncology; Dr. Randall Oyer, LG Health Oncology Program Director and LGHP Hematology & Medical Oncology; and Dr. Caitlin Stashwick, LGHP Gynecologic Oncology.
Attendees will learn about the importance of family history in determining risk and how to identify patients with premenopausal abnormal bleeding who should have further evaluation, as well as treatment and oncofertility options.
Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m., followed by the program, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
