Lancaster General Health has opened a fifth Urgent Care location, at 540 N. Duke St., in downtown Lancaster. The new Urgent Care is located in the Downtown Pavilion, across the street from Lancaster General Hospital.

Carla Leed, Administrative Director, Emergency Department and Trauma Service; Maggie Costella, Senior Vice President and General Counsel; Don Berkow, M.D., President, Lancaster Emergency Associates; Vito DiCamillo, M.D., Medical Director, Urgent Care; Bill McCune, Senior Vice President of Hospital Operations; Jim Stuccio, Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer; Christian Hermansen, M.D., Managing Physician, Family Medicine Downtown; Stacey King, Director of Operations – Medical Specialty, Urgent Care and Pediatrics

Urgent Care offers quick, convenient diagnosis and treatment of minor injuries and common illnesses, including cold, sore throat, flu, ear pain, rash, fever, diarrhea, cuts, fractures or sprains. X-ray and laboratory services also are available on site.
Stacey King, Director of Operations – Medical Specialty, Urgent Care and Pediatrics, said opening the new Urgent Care will reduce Emergency Department volume, increasing convenience for patients with less severe conditions and allowing those who require ED-level care to be seen and evaluated in a timelier manner.
“LG Health is pleased to offer Urgent Care services in downtown Lancaster,” she said. “Our new location will provide a convenient option for patients who have minor injuries and illnesses that don’t require emergency care.”
Hours are 5 p.m. to midnight weekdays and 9 a.m. to midnight Saturdays and Sundays. Patients may walk in or check wait times and reserve a spot online and wait from the comfort of home.
LG Health has additional Urgent Care locations at Rohrerstown Road, Ephrata, Parkesburg and Lebanon. For more information, click here.
