Opioid Act 124 Mandatory Training is now available as a recorded event. This event fulfills the new law mandating two hours of CME training for all providers who have a DEA license. The training is required prior to your next re-licensure, which is Oct. 31, 2018 for DOs and Dec. 31, 2018 for MDs. Go to www.lghealth.org/cme and click on CME on Demand. You’ll see the training at the top in Featured Materials. Or click here to be taken directly to the course and use your LGH username (what you use for Epic) to log in. After you take the course, you must complete a post test and an evaluation to receive your credits.
For more details on the events above, go to www.lghealth.org/cme, click on Month-at-a-Glance Calendar and click on an event of interest. LG Health CME events are open to all providers on the LG Health Medical & Dental Staff. Special symposia require registration, but Grand Rounds don’t. Grand Rounds are recorded and are available at www.lghealth.org/cme by clicking on CME on Demand (Enduring Materials). For more information on these and other upcoming events, please visit www.lghealth.org/cme or contact Roxanne Bolinger at 717-544-4500, firstname.lastname@example.org or Amber Provinzano at 717-544-4242, email@example.com, in the CME Office.
Prior to attending a CME event, please download the free “eeds” app to your mobile device (Flip-phone holdouts, please add 828-216-8114 to your contact list under “CME.”). You’ll use your mobile device to log your attendance (using your regular LGH user ID and password) instead of paper sign-ins and complete your evaluation. If you don’t have a mobile device, go to www.lghealth.org/cme to log your attendance within 24 hours of the event.
