ODM: A Vision for Diabetic Eye Screening 
Diabetes often causes blindness, but screening can prevent it. Drs. Christian Hermansen and Michael R. Pavlica use patient case studies to explain the importance of retinal screening and how new technology makes it easy. Earn up to 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ and 1.0 MOC points [and patient safety MOC credit] in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Also approved for 1.0 AAFP Prescribed credits. Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is pending.

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is a member of the Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC). This membership provides our entire staff (anyone with an LG Health email address) with access to a series of online educational modules that focus on relieving suffering in serious illness–from difficult conversations, to advanced care planning, to symptom management and beyond. The courses are case-based, interactive, and provide free CME/CEU credits for physicians, physician assistants, nurses, case managers, and social workers.
