Lancaster General Health’s Continuing Medical Education program was awarded Accreditation with Commendation, the highest level of accreditation possible, from the Pennsylvania Medical Society Feb. 7. LG Health CME offerings range from special evening symposia to case conferences, tumor boards and grand rounds. More than 60 online courses, many with patient safety and risk management credits, also are available to anyone on our Medical Staff. The online courses include previously recorded grand rounds, as well as required materials, such as Act 124 opioid training. Go here to visit our website, register for classes, view recorded events or download your CME transcript/certificate.
The CME program is overseen by VP of Academic Affairs Christine Stabler, M.D., and CME Chairman Dr. Jeffrey Kirchner, D.O. Several LG Health physicians, NPs, PAs and nurses serve on the CME Committee. Roxanne Bolinger, M.Ed., is manager, and Amber Provinzano, B.S., is coordinator of the program. Roxanne and Amber welcome any comments you may have about potential topics or speakers. Please contact us at Roxanne.Bolinger@pennmedicine.upenn.edu or Amber.Provinzano@pennmedicine.upenn.edu.
