COVID-19 Information: All outpatient cancer services at the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute are open and available during the COVID-19 pandemic. While we are taking every precaution to help people stay healthy, avoid unnecessary trips out of the home, and maintain a distance from others, we are still here, on site, and welcoming all those who may be in need. Face masks are required for all patients and visitors over the age of two, and staff. Watch a message from Randall Oyer, M.D., Medical Director, Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute.
Lifesaving immunotherapies, radiation therapies, personalized treatments.
Our cancer program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer (CoC), a reflection of our commitment to providing high-quality, multifaceted, patient-centered care. We have a team of experienced cancer specialists dedicated to each major type of cancer, including brain, breast, colon/GI and lung. Each team includes physicians, nurses, radiation therapists, nurse and patient navigators, social workers, dietitians and more, who follow national, evidence-based guidelines for care and keep up with the latest advances in research.
As a member of Penn Medicine, we bring more treatment options and experience to Lancaster than any other cancer institute in the state. At the same time, we are deeply committed to providing patients and families in our community with care that is compassionate, trusted and highly personalized. From the moment of diagnosis through treatment and post-recovery, we are here to support and guide you every step of the way.
