Our easy-to-make Guacamole Dip is a must-have at any Cinco de Mayo celebration, or any party for that matter. The creamy, smooth and tasty avocado is synonymous with Mexican cuisine and nutrition, containing multiple vitamins, minerals and health benefits.

Enjoy this popular fruit blended with lime, cilantro, and hot peppers and spices that America and the world has come to love.

Preparation time: 15 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 avocados with pulp removed
  • Juice from one lime
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional
  • ½ cup red onion, diced
  • 1-2 Jalapeno or Serrano chilies, seeded and diced
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 medium tomatoes, seed and pulp removed, diced

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In medium-size bowl, mash avocado pulp.
  2. Add lime juice and stir.
  3. Mix in remaining ingredients.
  4. Garnish with more cilantro and tomatoes.
  5. Serve with favorite tortilla chips.
