Dr. Robert Sapolsky, a nationally-recognized stress expert, science and nature writer, biologist, and neuroscientist at Stanford University, will deliver the keynote address at the sixth annual Health Summit on Thursday, May 11, 2017.

Co-sponsored by LiveWELL Lancaster and the Central Penn Business Group on Health, Dr. Sapolsky’s remarks kick off the program, which runs from 7:30 am until noon at the Lancaster County Convention Center. There is a $45 fee to attend ($20 for nonprofits).

This year’s sessions focus on how to improve health by alleviating stress and improving wellbeing and there are offerings tailored for both individuals and the corporate community.

Four local businesses will also be recognized at the summit for achievements in creating a well workplace, facilitating innovative healthcare solutions, and positively impacting employees and their communities.

The LiveWELL Lancaster County Coalition works to help Lancaster County residents achieve optimal health and overall wellbeing. Founded in the mid-1990s by LG Health and several other community groups, it is comprised of more than 30 business, education, school, faith-based, government, and health and human service organizations.
