Let's Talk, Lancaster, a United Way collective impact partnership facilitated by LG Health, continues to integrate medical and behavioral health-care services and to improve access to mental-health services. The partnership also helps to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness, and improved communication between physical- and behavioral health providers.
Let’s Talk, Lancaster is a regional partner of the Campaign to Change Direction. The goal of the Campaign is to change the culture of mental health in Lancaster County so that all of those in need receive the care and support they deserve. The Campaign encourages all Lancastrians to pay attention to their emotional well-being, reminding us that our emotional well-being is just as important as our physical well-being.
The organization has pledged to share the five signs of emotional suffering with 275,000 people in Lancaster County and to work together to change the culture surrounding mental health.
To achieve this goal, free toolkits are available for community members to use as a guide on changing the conversation on mental health. Toolkits are available on the Let’s Talk, Lancaster website.
