As the new school year quickly approaches, LG Health wants to make sure area schoolchildren receive required vaccines prior to the first day of school.
In August, LG Health’s Child Protect Program will host three walk-in immunization clinics for children who are uninsured or who have Medical Assistance. This program provides free immunizations against childhood diseases to children from birth to age 18 in Lancaster County.
Clinics offer convenient daytime and evening hours to help Lancaster families stay healthy.
No appointment is necessary. Parents are asked to bring up-to-date immunization records.
August clinics include the following dates and times:
- Tuesday, August 20 from 10 am to 6 pm at the Garden Spot Fire & Rescue, 339 E. Main St., New Holland
- Wednesday, August 21 from 10 am to 6 pm at the Bart Township Fire Co, 11 Furnace Road, Bart
- Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 2:30 pm to 6 pm at the Columbia Health Center, Columbia
