Thank you for the outpouring of support for Lancaster General Health as we work to combat the COVID-19 outbreak. The health system currently has adequate supplies to protect our patients and staff; however, we are gratefully accepting community donations to help mitigate needs we may have in the future.
Beginning Friday March 27, a community drive-through COVID-19 Donation and Materials Center will be in operation at Clipper Magazine Stadium, 650 N. Prince Street, Lancaster, every day, 7am – 6pm, until further notice.
Because Lancaster County is now under a stay-at-home order, we ask that you please visit the Donation Center while conducting other essential travel outside of your home. This could include trips to the pharmacy or grocery store.
At this time, LG Health is accepting these items only:
- Masks: N95 surgical masks; paper masks (ear loop or tie) in original carton*
- Eye protection, including face shields and safety goggles
- Gowns: disposable water-resistant cover gowns in original carton
- Gloves, non-latex, all sizes, in original carton
- Head covers, disposable bouffant type with elastic band
- Shoe covers, disposable
- PAPRs (powered air-purifying respirators) and PAPR hoods
- Wipes, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide
- Bottles of bleach (not splash-less)
- Hand sanitizers
- Nasal swabs
*If you are interested in sewing masks, please reach out to us for additional details at LGHealthCovidDonations@pennmedicine.upenn.edu.
Instructions for Donation Drop Off
Community members making donations should enter the Clipper Magazine parking lot from Prince Street and follow directional signs around to the rear of stadium until arriving at Clay Street. Do NOT get out of your vehicle. LG Health personnel will unload your trunk and/or deliver mask-making supplies*.
Lancaster General Health COVID-19 Response Fund
We have received an outpouring of responses from our community members asking how they can help support the hospital during this time. Therefore, the COVID-19 Response Fund has been created in addition to the supply donation center.
Community members wishing to make monetary donations may do so through the Lancaster General Health Foundation at https://www.lancastergeneralhealth.org/giving-foundation.
