As women age, the quantity and quality of their eggs decrease. The rate and extent of this decrease varies. Whether you are interested in pregnancy now or in the future, ovarian reserve testing can provide useful information for fertility planning and treatment.

There is not one single best test of “egg supply.” However, our fertility experts will discuss the options and order tests to draw a comprehensive picture of your reproductive health. These tests, which include bloodwork (FSH, estradiol, AMH) and ultrasound (antral follicle count-AFC), need to be performed in the first few days of your menstrual cycle.

Please call 717-544-0107 on cycle day 1 of your menses (first day of full flow) to schedule your ovarian reserve testing.
