The Pharmacy Department at Lancaster General Health is committed to providing patients with safe, effective, quality medication. In addition to inpatient services, we operate the Convenience Pharmacy at Lancaster General Hospital and the LifeCare Pharmacy at the Suburban Pavilion for patients being treated at those facilities. We also serve LG Health employees, their dependents, staff and volunteers. Our prices are competitive with local retail pharmacies, but allow the convenience of just one stop on your visit with us.
Part of a Coordinated Care Team
Our pharmacists play an important role in your care. They review your medications and may coordinate with other health-care providers to help manage your medical problems. We are available to provide:
- Allergy and drug interaction checks if you have questions about whether you can take a new medication with existing medications
- Prescription information printout, describing benefits, side effects, and special conditions of your prescription
- Private consultation to help you understand how your current medications work together
