The Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Team at Lancaster General Health provides state-of-the-art emergency care at Lancaster General Hospital’s Level 1 Trauma Center for patients who experience traumatic injuries. We are the only accredited Level I Trauma Center in Lancaster County and the second such center in the University of Pennsylvania Health System.
In addition to providing care for patients with traumatic injuries, we are on call 24/7 for emergency surgeries and also perform a wide range of elective and general surgical procedures.
