Pediatric hospitalists (doctors who specialize in hospital care) and cardiologists from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia provide inpatient care in Lancaster General Hospital’s Pediatric Unit and Emergency Department. Pediatric specialists from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia offer outpatient care in a variety of specialties at the CHOP Specialty Care Center, located in our Suburban Pavilion, giving families access to world-class care right here at home.

Our physicians from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia work in collaboration with your child’s LG Health pediatrician or family physician to provide the highest quality care. Your providers share access to your child’s medical records, so treatment plans are well coordinated, and any follow-up visits, tests, or services can be easily arranged—whether here in Lancaster or at any of the CHOP Specialty Care Centers, if more complex care is needed.
