Nearly 4,000 babies are born each year at Women & Babies Hospital—more than any other hospital in Lancaster County. Here, you’ll find doctors, midwives, nurses and support staff with the experience, training and equipment to handle every type of birth experience, from routine deliveries to high-risk pregnancies and multiple births. We are home to Lancaster County’s first and most advanced Level IIIb Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Our team has the experience, advanced training, and equipment to care for newborns as early as 23 gestational weeks.

Our personalized approach to care allows us to understand your preferences and concerns, and offer support and education at every step. We want you to feel prepared and cared for throughout your labor and delivery, and leave with confidence when it is time to take your newborn home. While a safe and healthy delivery is our top priority, we are committed to making this a special experience for families, and offer many services and amenities for your comfort during your stay.
